We often focus on individual regulation, but the ability to remain present with complexity also seems deeply relational. A group can either increase defensiveness and urgency, or create enough safety for people to stay with difficult emotions without immediately trying to fix, explain, or escape them.
In group Reiki practice, I have often noticed how the quality of attention between participants influences the whole experience. What conditions did you find most important for helping a group develop that capacity to remain present together?
I love the idea of metabolizing the architecture, the old patterns, that perpetuate the trauma. The inner /collective game shifts the field without doing, if I understand correctly.
